WAH! I’m so behind!

Matt O'Neill, MattyDONeill, LGBT, Gay, Lesbian, Show Host

Yes, I’ve developed a beard as well. Thoughts?

I’m so sorry I fell very much behind in my posting.  I’ve been very busy with media “stuff”.  As many of you know who have been following me from the beginning, I love to host, entertain, and meet the stars.  My ultimate dream is to end up on television either in a hit reality show, on the red carpet interviewing Hollywood, or most excitedly, have my own talk show.  In the past month, my dreams have been taking all the right baby steps forward.

To catch you all up on some of the stuff I’ve been working on, here is an end of the year (more like last month and a half) recap of what has been going on:

Spilled Tea Appearance

The Spilled Tea, Podcast, LGBT, Gay, Lesbian, MattyDONeill, PhiladelphiaThrough some twist of fate, I was asked to appear on (in?) a podcast called The Spilled Tea.  Hosted by the wonderful Douglas Lancaster, and co-hosts Jameal Starks, David O’Quinn, Kyle Richard and Dallas Walsh, we hit topics ranging from porn to politics.  It was a great 2 hour podcast, I recommend if you want some laughs, download the audio from The Spilled Tea – episode 5.  Also starring was producer of Truth, Rob Maretti.  Truth is a suspenseful, psychological thriller, exposing the hidden demons buried deep inside each and every one of us.  And for you LGBT followers…it stars Sean Paul Lockhart!

PhillyGayCalendar Year In Review

I do a lot of writing and videos for this AMAZING Philadelphia based website – PhillyGayCalendar.  They recently posted their year in review video, showcasing a ton of work that was done by the entire team.  I encourage you to check out the clip below to see just some of the pieces that I’ve worked on over the past year with them.  Here’s to another just as successful and just as crazy new year of interviews!

CBS Appearance

So it’s a start, but I did end up in a regional commercial here in Philadelphia for CBS news.  It’s a crazy feeling when people start to text and call to see if I was really on their televisions.  You can check out the CBS commercial below.  I want to give a VERY special thank you to Mark Olson of CBS for casting, shooting, and producing my part of the video footage.  Hopefully this wont be the last time you will be seeing me on television.

My Website Launches!

MattyDONeill, LGBT, Philly, Philadelphia, Gay, Lesbian, Television, Show HostThe most exciting news I have is that I have just launched my portfolio website this past month!  My reel is currently in its final stages of completion thanks to my great friend Bryan.  I would love it if you all went  over to www.mattydoneill.com and checked it out.  There, you will find some of the other works I’ve been involved in like the a short art film, more celeb interviews, and much much more.  Let me know what you all think of the new site!

You can also find all my other social sites through mattydoneill.com; I’ve consolidated quite a bit so now most of my social URL’s are ending with .com/mattydoneill.  Be sure to tweet, like, share, and post freely; I always return a quality comment — especially to the new MattyDONeill Facebook Page!

Here’s to a happy and healthy 2014 – live your dreams, you only get one life to make yourself happy.  What are your New Years resolutions?  I know it’s already been a week, have you been sticking with them?

  1. Congrats Matt!! Glad to see things are moving along for you at a gradual pace. Keep up the hard work and you will have a bright future. I say five years from now you will be if not close to exactly where you want to be.

As for resolutions, I actually didn’t make one this year. It actually depresses me a little to think about the two things I would resolve to do. While one is in my control basically the other is not entirely.

  2. Love your blog buddy! I know you have a ton of followers, but I nominated you for a Liebster Award anyway becasue I wanted you part of my group! xo http://peterisms.com/2014/01/15/the-liebster-award/

    • Don’t be silly, Peter. You can never be too rich, too thin or have too many shoes, I mean, followers. I’m glad you included Matt among your Liebster nominees, because that’s how I found this up-and-comer. Matt, you could be the Itay Hod of Philly! All you have to do is wake up with a Republican Congressman and bring a camera crew. 🙂 I kid. Great blog. Keep going.
